BOJ official nabbed on bribery c
Yasuyuki Yoshizawa, 42, chief of the Capital Markets Division
at the Credit and Markets Management Department of the Bank of Japan,
is escorted to the Tokyo District Prosecutors Office on March 11 for
questioning on suspicion of receiving entertainment favors from major
banks. The prosecutors arrested him later in the day. His arrest
came soon after prosecutors raided the BOJ headquarters in search of
evidence of his alleged bribery.
