World's largest go match
A go match, believed to be the largest in the world using a
board 40 meters square and go stones 2 meters in diameter, was played
June 5 at Nanasegawa park in Oita, Oita Prefecture. More than 150
people turned up to watch the match, which lasted two hours.
Organizers of the match say they plan to register the event with the
Guinness Book of Records.
