Li reports to NPC on China's WTO entry preparations
BEIJING, China - Li Peng, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), reports to the plenary session of the NPC in Beijing on March 9 on the committee's activities over the last year, including legislative preparations for the country's entry to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Li said China will enact this year antitrust and other laws considered necessary for a market economy.
