Rocket carrying Venus probe Akatsuki set to blast off into space
TANEGASHIMA, Japan - The H-2A rocket carrying Akatsuki, Japan's new planetary probe designed to travel to Venus to examine its climate, is seen at Tanegashima Space Center in Kagoshima Prefecture on May 20, 2010, a day before its launch. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency had postponed the liftoff on May 18 due to bad weather. (Kyodo)
