S. Koreans protest Koizumi's shrine visit
SEOUL, South Korea - South Korean civic group members and women who were forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese military during World War II protest Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's surprise visit April 21 to Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo in front of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul on April 24. The Shinto shrine honors Japanese Class-A war criminals along with the country's war dead.
