Sen. Brownback backs U.N. debate on N. Korea abductions
WASHINGTON, United States - Sen. Sam Brownback (L), chairman of the U.S. Senate subcommittee on East Asia and Pacific affairs, welcomes Shigeru Yokota and his wife Sakie, whose daughter Megumi was abducted by North Korea in 1977 at age 13, in Washington on March 3. The group of abduction victims' relatives is in Washington seeking U.S. support to resolve the issue.
