Dollar tops 120 yen in Tokyo morning, hitting 28-month high
TOKYO, Japan - The U.S. dollar topped 120 yen for the first time in more than two years and hit a 28-month high on the morning of Dec. 2 in Tokyo as investors stepped up dollar buying to invest gains from robust Japanese stocks into U.S. assets on expectations of higher U.S. interest rates.
