Mudskippers still alive
Mudskippers are still alive in Isahaya Bay in the
southwestern Japan prefecture of Nagasaki, one year after the bay's
inside was completely shut off April 14 last year. The inner part of
the bay was closed off as part of a project to reclaim it. At that
time, it was feared that mudskippers and other marine ceatures on
Japan's largest dry beach would die because of the closure.
