Arrival of Japanese probe in Mars to be delayed
This is an imaginary picture of Japan's first Mars probe
''Nozomi'' (Hope). The Institute of Space and Astronautical Science
said Jan. 12 it will not reach the orbit of the red planet until 2003
or 2004, more than four years after the original target of October
1999, due to lack of fuel. The photo was provided by the institute.
