Sydney's Olympic Stadium has blind spots
Olympic Stadium in Sydney, the main venue for the 2000
Olympic Games, is shown to the public on Feb. 21. Some 100,000 people
turned out for the first walk around the stadium. The stadium, with a
seating capacity of 110,000, however, has blind spots for spectators
on the third deck. From the seats in question, the roof obstructs the
view of some of the action on the opposite side of the track.
