Japan offers 20 bil. yen aid package to Vietnam
Japanese Finance Minister Kiichi Miyazawa (L at Center) meets
with Vietnamese Prime Minister Phan Van Khai (R of Miyazawa) at the
government guesthouse in Hanoi on May 16. In the meeting, Miyazawa
said Japan will provide Vietnam with 20 billion yen in concessional
loans to help the country's economic reform program.
