Myanmar's Win Aung skeptical about Suu Kyi's flexibility

Myanmar's Foreign Minister Win Aung expresses skepticism June 5 about an apparent turnaround in democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi's attitude to the junta in Yangon. The council also remitted sentences for 7,749 Myanmar prisoners and 125 foreign prisoners, while commuting death sentences for some prisoners to life imprisonment, according to the orders.
