Osaka transplant team leaves for Sendai to receive heart

Doctors of the National Cardiovascular Center Hospital in Osaka leave Osaka airport for Sendai on June 14 to collect the heart of a brain-dead donor in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan. Japan's third legal organ transplants from a brain-dead donor were to take place after the donor was confirmed brain-dead following an accident.
