Japan to send 3 police officers to E. Timor
Japan's National Police Agency (NPA) has decided to send three officers to East Timor to assist with the implementation of an August ballot on the future of the former Portuguese colony. Meeting reporters at a news conference in Tokyo on June 29 are (from L to R) Norihisa Shiya, inspector, 47, Yasunori Orita, chief superintendent, 46, and Masayuki Mikata, captain, 46.
