Dejima shoves out Akebono for Nagoya sumo crown

NAGOYA, Japan - Sekiwake Dejima (R) shoves out yokozuna Akebono in a championship playoff at the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament on July 18. Dejima and Akebono both finished the 15-day tourney with 13-2 records and squared off in a winner-take-all playoff at Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium.
