Another crack found in pipe of Tsuruga nuclear reactor
TSURUGA, Japan - Japan Atomic Power Co. released July 19 this picture showing a 7.6-centimeter-long crack on the inner wall of a pipe removed from a Tsuruga nuclear reactor in Fukui Prefecture on the Sea of Japan coast. The company has found a 9.9-cm-long crack on the outer surface of the pipe, from which more than 50 tons of radioactive water leaked July 12.
