Korean tower relocated to Hiroshima park
HIROSHIMA, Japan - A stone tower dedicated to Korean victims of the 1945 U.S. atomic bombing of Hiroshima is relocated to the city's Peace Memorial Park in a ceremony July 21. Hiroshima Mayor Tadatoshi Akiba said the city decided to allow the cenotaph, previously located outside the park, to be relocated because its exclusion had been considered a symbol of discrimination.
