Diet panel members to visit Senkaku Islands
TOKYO, Japan - The House of Representatives Committee on National Security is in session August 3 to discuss a visit by members to the disputed Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea. The visit is intended to ''reconfirm Japan's sovereignty'' over the islands, which are also claimed by China and Taiwan.
