Subaru telescope photographs protostars' jets
TOKYO, Japan - The National Astronomical Observatory of Japan released Aug. 24 this image of two parallel jets being emitted from a nebula which is 450 light years from Earth and believed to contain two protostars. The image was captured by the Subaru, one of the world's largest optical-infrared telescopes which is located at the summit of the Mt. Mauna Kea in Hawaii.
