Heyns sets world record in 50 meters breaststroke

SYDNEY, Australia - South African Penny Heyns sets her fourth world record as she slashed her own 50 meters breaststroke mark in a special time trial at the Pan Pacific championships in Sydney, Australia, on Aug. 28. Heyns, 28, clocked 30.83 seconds, cutting 0.12 second from her record. The photo shows her acknowledging support from spectators.
