Japan's Sato wins bronze in world marathon in Spain
SEVILLE, Spain - Japan's Nobuyuki Sato raises the Hinomaru (rising sun) flag after winning bronze in the world athletics championships' marathon in Seville, Spain, on Aug. 28. He clocked 2 hours, 14 minutes, 7 seconds. Defending champion Abel Anton of Spain won gold in 2:13.36 and Italy's Vincenzo Modica silver in 2:14.03.
