AOMORI, Japan - People gather at a port in Aomori Prefecture on Sept. 3 to protest the arrival of a cargo ship carrying some 11 tons of spent nuclear fuel produced in Ehime Prefecture. The ship resumed shipments to a reprocessing plant being built in the village of Rokkasho in the prefecture after an 11-month suspension due to falsification of container data.
