Japanese residents in East Timor urged to evacuate

DILI, East Timor - A Japanese Foreign Ministry official tells Japanese residents, including U.N. volunteer Ai Kihara (3rd from L), in Dili, East Timor, on Sept. 5 that the ministry wants Japanese nationals to evacuate the territory. East Timor is now rated ''level 5,'' the highest on the ministry's five-level danger scale.
