N. Korea closes embassy in Mongolia
BEIJING, China - This file photo taken in May 1998 shows the North Korean Embassy in Ulan Bator, which diplomatic sources in the Mongolian capital said has been closed since Aug. 25. Mongolian Foreign Ministry officials said North Korea notified it of the closure of its embassy Aug. 25. North Korea did not mention any reason for the closure, the officials said, but diplomatic sources suspect that lack of funds may be one reason.
