TOKYO, Japan - Ozeki Chiyotaikai (R) turns in yet another solid performance on Sept. 15 to keep his slate clean for a share of the lead with sekiwake Kaio and maegashira Miyabiyama four days into the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament. Robot sumo tournament begins in Hokkaido

ASAHIKAWA, Japan - Two men set their robotic sumo wrestlers face to face on a special dohyo ring, as first round matches get underway at the first regional preliminaries in Asahikawa, central Hokkaido on Sept. 2. A total of 175 robots, backed by their creators and owners, took part in the Hokkaido preliminary of the 13th FSI-All Japan Robot-Sumo Tournament scheduled for Dec. 23 at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan.
