Japan's Princess Sayako observes heavens in Hawaii
HAWAII ISLAND, United States - Japan's Princess Sayako engages in a little nighttime astronomy with Subaru, one of the world's largest optical-infrared telescopes, at the top of Mt. Mauna Kea on Hawaii Island on Sept. 16 local time. The only daughter of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko is in Hawaii to attend a ceremony to mark the completion of the Japanese telescope.
