Alfee sings in Berlin to celebrate 'Year of Japan'
BERLIN, Germany - The Japanese rock group Alfee holds a free concert in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on Sept. 26, the eve of the ''Year of Japan in Germany'' program. At the climax of their performance, they sang Beethoven's Choral Symphony together with the audience. The performance was part of events to celebrate the opening Monday of the yearlong campaign to introduce Japanese culture, arts and science to the German public.
