Man stabs 17 people in Shimonoseki, 2 killed
SHIMONOSEKI, Japan - Police examine a car used by a 35-year-old Japanese man who went on a rampage at JR Shimonoseki Station in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture on Sept. 29, stabbing 17 people and killing two of them. The man alighted from the car at the station before slashing indiscriminately at passersby with a kitchen knife on the station's first-floor passageway.
