Patrol robot with sweeping function devised
TOKYO, Japan - A robot that sweeps floors while patrolling a building has been jointly developed by Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. and Central Security Patrols Co. The companies said Oct. 26 that the battery-powered robot operates for three hours once it is charged, covering an area of 1,600 square meters per hour.
