Japanese cabinet approves extra budget
TOKYO, Nov. 25 Kyodo - Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi, flanked by Foreign Minister Yohei Kono (L) and Finance Minister Kiichi Miyazawa (R), presides over a special cabinet session, which approved a 6,789 billion yen second auxiliary budget Nov. 25. The extra budget finances the core part of an 18 trillion yen economy-revitalizing package unveiled earlier this month.
