Skytrain overhead railway inaugurated in Bangkok

BANGKOK, Thailand - The Skytrain overhead railway opens service in Bangkok on King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 72nd birthday Dec. 5. The 23.5-kilometer, two-line system links key parts of the Thai capital. Skytrain is Bangkok's first mass transit system and is expected to beat the city's traffic jams.
