Tamura wins 10th straight at Fukuoka women's judo

FUKUOKA, Japan - World champion Ryoko Tamura (R) edges Cuban rival Amarilis Savon on a referee's decision on Dec. 12 to take home her 10th straight title in the Fukuoka International Women's Judo Championships. Tamura appeared evenly matched with world runner-up Savon in the 48-kilogram championship final at Fukuoka Kokusai Center, but appeared aggressive enough to win the nod of the judges at the end of the match.
