Sosa meets Japanese Premier Obuchi
TOKYO, Japan - Sammy Sosa (R), outfielder of the Chicago Cubs, meets Japanese Prime Minister Keizo Obuhi at Obuchi's official residence in Tokyo on Dec. 13. In the meeting, Obuchi showed a bat which Sosa had presented to him in Chicago. Sosa came to Japan to promote Major League Baseball's season-opening games against the New York Mets at Tokyo Dome on March 29 and 30 next year.
