Shimizu posts world best in national sprint c'ships
FUJIYOSHIDA, Japan - Nagano Olympic champion Hiroyasu Shimizu sets a world outdoor best as he wins the men's 500 meters in 35.43 seconds at the national speed skating sprint championships at the Fujikyu Highland Seiko Oval in Yamanashi Prefecture on Dec. 24.
