Obuchi visits monument dedicated to slain Japanese policeman
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia - Japanese Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi (C) on Jan. 10 visits a monument dedicated to a Japanese police officer who was shot dead in Cambodia in 1993. Obuchi and his wife Chizuko visited the monument dedicated to Haruyuki Takata, who was killed while taking part in U.N. peacekeeping operations. They were accompanied by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and his wife Bun Rany.
