Okinawa hotel staff train for G-8 summit
TOKYO, Japan - Hotel staff from Okinawa Prefecture begin six days of training at Tokyo's Hotel Okura on Jan. 24 to host world leaders and government officials during the Group of Eight (G-8) summit scheduled for July 21-23 in the prefecture's city of Nago. The Foreign Ministry asked the Okura to hold the training seminar because it has experience in hosting important guests, including delegates to previous summits in Tokyo.
