Hostage-takers shot, hostages freed at Thai hospital+
RATCHABURI, Thailand - Nine armed Myanmar guerrillas are dead and another arrested after Thai military special forces stormed a hospital in Ratchaburi, about 120 km west of Bangkok, on Jan. 25 to free patients and medical staff held hostage for nearly 24 hours by the guerrillas. Photo shows the hospital gate when the military action started. All the 100 to 200 hostages were safely rescued.
