Pop producer Komuro to write summit song
NAHA, Japan - Pop music producer Tetsuya Komuro (L) shakes hands with Okinawa Gov. Keiichi Inamine on Feb. 2 after visiting the Okinawa Prefectural government office to tell the governor he wants to write a theme song for July's summit of the Group of Eight (G-8) major nations in Okinawa. ''I want to create a song which Namie Amuro and foreign artists can perform together,'' Komuro told Inamine. Amuro, who comes from Okinawa, is a popular singer and dancer.
