Japan denial of nuke-armed ships' calls vexed Kennedy: file
WASHINGTON, United States - The photo shows a copy of a ''top secret'' U.S. file revealed on March 5. The file, ''Presidential Conference on the Transit of U.S. Nuclear Armed Warships through Japanese Ports,'' was found by U.S. historian Kai Bird. It shows then U.S. President John F. Kennedy expressed anxiety in 1963 about the Japanese government's denial at the Diet of American nuclear-armed warships' transit at Japanese ports.
