Families of missing Japanese stage sit-in protest
TOKYO, Japan - Some 50 relatives and supporters of Japanese nationals allegedly abducted by North Korean agents stage a sit-in protest March 6 in front of the Foreign Ministry at Tokyo's Kasumigaseki over the government's plan to resume food aid to North Korea. ''We oppose food aid while shelving the abduction issue,'' one placard reads. ''The Foreign Ministry should not succumb to pressure,'' another sign says.
