U.S. eyes WTO petition in NTT hookup rate dispute
WASHINGTON, United States - U.S. Deputy Trade Representative Richard Fisher speaks in an interview with Kyodo News in Washington on March 13. He said the U.S. is ready to file a complaint at the World Trade Organization (WTO) over access to Japan's telecom market if Tokyo continues to reject substantial cuts in interconnection fees charged by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. (NTT).
