TAIPEI, Taiwan - Supporters wave flags at a campaign rally for independent candidate James Soong in Taipei on March 17 on the eve of Taiwan's presidential election. Soong is among the three front-runners along with Lien Chan of the Nationalist Party and Chen Shui-bian of the Democratic Progressive Party.
