Menezes named Citibank's CEO, chairman

NEW YORK, United States - Victor Menezes (shown in the file photo), president of Citibank NA, the banking arm of Citigroup, is named March 21 chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman of the bank. He replaces John Reed, who will retire on April 18. Indian-born Menezes, 50, has been president of Citibank since 1998.
