Paper crane made in Seattle recognized as world's largest
LOS ANGELES, United States - A 36-meter-tall paper crane constructed in Seattle last November (in this file photo) has been recognized as the world's largest by the Guinness Book of Records, the World Peace Project for Children (WPPC) said March 21. The WPPC, a nonprofit organization that organized the construction of the paper bird at the Seattle Kingdome, said the ''Wings for Peace'' crane was recognized as such March 2 and will appear in the book's 2000 version.
