Upper house OKs pension reform bills
TOKYO, Japan - Home Affairs Minister Kosuke Hori (front L) and Health and Welfare Minister Yuya Miwa bow in appreciation of a House of Councillors approval March 22 of bills aimed to slash pension payments to private-sector employees. The bills were immediately sent to the House of Representatives for approval.
