Lee adviser to serve as Taiwan's foreign minister
TAIPEI, Taiwan - Tien Hung-mao (in this file photo), a national policy adviser to outgoing Taiwan President Lee Teng-hui, will serve as foreign minister in the new government led by President-elect Chen Shui-bian, Premier-designate Tang Fei said on April 13. Tien, 61, head of the Institute for National Policy Research, a private think tank, will succeed Chen Chien-jen.
