Protestors, Indonesian police clash over Aceh massacre trial

BANDA ACEH, Indonesia - Scores of Acehnese students clash with Indonesian police April 19 in front of the Banda Aceh District Court where a military-civilian trial against 24 military men and a civilian accused of massacring at least 57 people in Aceh Province began. The protesters demanded an end to the trial, which they charged is a ''farce'' that may lead to a ''whitewash.''
