2 injured in crash landing in Ibaraki Pref.
MITO, Japan - A light plane (foreground) sits on the ground after making an emergency landing in a paddy field just east of Ryugasaki airport (background) in Ibaraki Prefecture, eastern Japan, on April 24. Two of three people aboard the single-engine propeller plane were injured. According to their flight plan, the plane departed from Toyama airport in Toyama Prefecture on the Sea of Japan coast and was bound for Ryugasaki airport.
