Japan's largest torii completed in Wakayama
SHINGU, Japan - Japan's largest ''torii,'' a gateway at the entrance to a Shinto shrine, is completed in a ceremony at Kumano-Hongu Shrine in Hongu, Wakayama Prefecture, western Japan, on May 11. Some 500 people passed through the 34-meter-high, 42-meter-wide gate after the ceremony.
