Environmentalists protest shipment of PCB-contaminated waste
YOKOHAMA, Japan - Activists from the Greenpeace Japan environmentalist group stage a protest May 13 in front of a U.S. Army facility at Yokohama port, protesting against the shipment of some 100 tons of polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB)-contaminated waste. The U.S. cargo ship Greenwave left Yokohama the same day carrying the waste probably to Wake Island.
